Properties:White powder, density is 2.484(20℃),easy soluble in water, but not in organic solution, absorbent to dampness, and turn sticky when absorbed dampness in air. it is possible to form solvent compound with metallic ions such as Ca, Ba, Mg, Cu and Fe; it is affine agent for water treatment.

Applicant: It is used as modifying agent of quality, regulator of PH value, chelate agent, binder and swelling agent in food industry. It could be used to stabilize the natural pigment in beans, fruit vegetables cans and sweetened bean paste to protect the food’s color. It is also used as emulsifier in canned meat and as water softener.
