Zinc phosphate, as a new generation of antirust pigment,is a new type of nontoxic and harmless white antirust pigment with excellent performace in rust prevention and ideal application effect. It is the best substitute of conventional antirust pigments containing heavy metals such as lead and chrome. It mainly used in various coating materials for preparation of waterproof, acid-resistant or corrosion preventive coating materials such as phenolic paint, epoxy paint, acrylic paint, paste paint and water-soluble resin paint in the fields of shipbuilding,automobile,industrial machinery, light metal, household appliances and metal containers for foods.
COMPATIBILITY:Zinc Phosphate is compatible with a wide variety of media including alkyds epoxy esters, chlorinated rubber, polyurethane etc
CORROSION RESISTANCE:The Pigment also physically prevents passage of water and salts. Thus the corrosion resistance is a major characteristic of Zinc Phosphate.Good brushing characteristics can be obtained with Zinc Phosphate Primers, which are suitable for both airless and conventional spray application. None of these methods entails a health hazard.
NON-TOXIC:Zinc Phosphate has the advantage of non toxic nature over other Corrosion Resistant Pigments much as Zinc Chromate, Zinc Tetroxy Chromate and Barium Chromate.
EXCELLENT INTER-COAT ADHESION:The use of Zinc Phosphate in Primers promotes excellent inter-coat adhesion, particularly under conditions of high humidity.
